Every winter I put on at least 15 pounds!  I can't help it.  Food just tastes better in the winter.  Just to share some of my winter time favorites with you:

Chicken and dumplings;

 Boil chicken breasts until done about 45 min.

cut the chicken into small pieces return to pot

throw in a can of chicken broth, a can of cream of chicken soup

and dash some sage, black pepper, and salt in,

stir well; and using can biscuits, pinch and throw in,

put milk or heavy cream, and butter in and keep stirred regulary for about 30 to 40 min, on med-low heat.

Yummy!

Good Meatloaf!

1 or 2 pounds hamburgar meat.

1 egg if using 1 lb. meat or 2 eggs for 2 lbs. meat

1 package of Stove Top Stuffing any flavor, I like Savory Herb

1 can of Campbells French Onion Soup (undiluted)

 Mix together well and put into greased meatloaf pan and cook 350 degrees for 1 1/2 (one and a half) hours.

15 minutes before done mix 1/4 cup ketchup and 1/4 cup BBQ Sauce and couple tablespoons brown sugar. and pour over the top.

Simple and Yummy!
