Hidden Hollow is a 52 acre park built by Arda Lee in 1945, he opened it to the public in 1970. He had a vision and a dream, but no money to build his dream with. He was often seen bumming items, thus leading to a manmade park.

This man-made wonderland is highlighted by natural waterfalls, covered bridges, lakes, and canals and offers a variety of recreational activities including swimming, hiking, fishing, and picnicking.Hidden hollow also has many deer and duck that you can pet as well as feed.

The park also offers putt putt and fishing for all ages.

Arda  passed on in 2004,park is now owned by Vince and Amanda Taylor. Under the new ownership the Taylors have planned many new events to breathe new life into the park, such as the park will be hosting a "return to mayberry days" A special appearance from "Barney and his squad car" - 2 performances from "Elvis", Mayberry Idle contest,
Live Bluegrass/folk music, A antique car/truck show, Cane pole fishing, checkers, and horseshoe contest, Carnival games, Bounce house, and craft vendors.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

.

Before I was a Mom
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put him down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache,
the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.

Come see Cumberland Caverns!!!!

Cumberland caverns is an excellent place for you to visit here in Tennessee! It features not only a unique giftshop but also scenery galore!

CUMBERLAND CAVERNS is one of the most extensive caves known in Tennessee. Portions of this system were originally known as Higgenbotham Cave and Henshaw Cave, but integration of these two caves plus considerable exploration of previously unvisited sections has in the past several years considerably enlarged the cave.  More than 32 miles are now known.Even the entrance to the caverns is beautiful and breathtaking for all to see!

Orig it was two caves ,including the Henshaw Cave and the Ten Acre Room, but was undertaken in 1955, and the name changed at that time to "Cumberland Caverns."  Since that time many thousands of visitors have been able to view the remarkable features of the Cavern.Taking tours and adventures there was not only a thing of the past and is still open today for you to see!!!

Not only does the cave itself get alot of attention but so does this beautiful hanging chandelier!!Everybody I know who was been to the caverns, always comes out in amazement after seeing this!!!
